Tuscany has an area of ​​22,990 km ².


The most popular section at the sea in Tuscany is Versilia. Here, the beach stretches along the Apuan Alps, from Viareggio to Marina di Massa. The beaches are mostly divided into the so-called "Bagni", or relaxed beach bars with beach chairs and umbrellas.

Tuscany has a Mediterranean climate. Winter in Tuscany is temperate, warm in summer and spring and autumn is rainy. The region benefits from the gentle air that enters from the Tyrrhenian Sea and the protection of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
